Most leaders don't get stuck because they stopped caring. They get stuck because the systems around them — and sometimes the stories inside them — have stopped moving.
We founded Choose Legacy because we've spent our careers on both problems, from both sides of the table. One of us built the leadership pipelines and coaching systems inside two of America's largest school districts. The other sits in the superintendent's chair right now, leading an urban district through the years after state receivership — where systems either work or children pay the price.
Between us, we've been the teacher, the assistant principal, the principal, the district office, and the superintendency. There is no seat at your table we haven't sat in.
